Lough Erne Resort makes a Splash with New Swimming Sponsorship

The Lakelanders, based at Lakeland Forum, is a fully inclusive club which caters for young swimmers of all abilities. Although its goal is to produce swimmers of international standard, it also endeavours to keep its swimmers involved in sport for as long as possible, at whatever level suits them.  The club is affiliated to Swim Ireland – the governing body for the whole of Ireland and has a great track record of producing national champions and international performers.

“As part of the sponsorship deal, Lough Erne Resort has provided financial support and exclusive privileges to the club”.

Joanne Walsh, General Manager at Lough Erne Resort said she was delighted to be able to assist locally-based, community sport.

“At Lough Erne Resort we are very proud to be firmly embedded in our local community.  Many of our own team members are from the Fermanagh area and have children are actively involved in the club, so it’s a privilege to be able to support activities that are important to them too.  With things now returning to normal, it’s a perfect time to partner with a club that encourages children and young people to keep fit, stay healthy and disconnect from technology which is so important for their all-round wellbeing. With our own proximity to the water, this initiative is just perfect.”

Sara Lannon, Chairperson from Lakelanders paid tribute to Lough Erne Resort: “As an amateur swimming club, we find so much enjoyment in the rhythm of the water, in some ways similar to many guests of Lough Erne Resort, we rely heavily in the support of local businesses. We are therefore thrilled that such an important part of our local community, Lough Erne Resort, has come onboard.”
